I don't see this changing massively with PSVR2." #FORZA 5 VS GRAN TURISMO 7 INSTALL#"PS4 has a huge install base, but only a small percentage bought a PSVR. How many of those purchases are mainstream gamers? It could be companies or people buying for other VR formats." How many units? They just say it sold more than the past models combined, but we don't actually have numbers to work out if that's 10 mil or 100 mil. You get given a car to use, its similar to using a loan car for a Forza event race except you are forced to use the loan car instead of having the option if you don't own it.RauLeCreuset 205d had no problem playing sales numbers and lecturing about how corporations with shareholders function when you needed an excuse to crap on PSVR2 and excuse make for why the attach rate argument you were trying to use against it didn't apply to Game Pass: so when its races that require certain cars what happens if you dont own said vechile ? You get a loaner ? Or you cant race.Īlso thanks for being super cool and answering all these questions A lot of races though have set cars you can't customise and have to use what you are given another reason its far better for racing than Forza, you don't get people picking their monster cars with ridiculous tunes so its more balanced racing. #FORZA 5 VS GRAN TURISMO 7 DRIVER#Originally posted by MaTheMeatloaf!:From what i have seen in youtube vids of the Gran Turismo there are lobbys for races that go off every 15 mins similiar to I-Racing and driver ratings that penalize or reward pending on how clean you drive ?Īnd yes you can use your custom livery online if the race allows "garage cars" to be entered and others can see it much like Forza. Some lobbies though have penalties disabled and those tend to have a lot of disrespectful people playing that will just crash you off the track so I advise against playing those lobbies.Īnd yes you can use your custom livery online if the race allows "garage cars" to be entered and others can see it much like Forza. There is indeed a penalty system in place that penalises rammers, it slows down your car to 50kph and add time penalties which can add up depending how often you ram and how severe it is, also once your sportsmanship rating goes down enough you can no longer race online until you gain it again. Yeah there is also a bit of a competitive e-sports kind of feel to some of the championships, you can certainly just queue into a race with others whenever you like, there is usually events popping up every few minutes to queue for. From what i have seen in youtube vids of the Gran Turismo there are lobbys for races that go off every 15 mins similiar to I-Racing and driver ratings that penalize or reward pending on how clean you drive ?Īlso I do love the livery in forza there is one in turismo from what i have read but can other players see your decals/livery designs when racing ? So there is definitely more skill involved as it tends to limit cars to be a lot more balanced so it comes down to pure driving skill rather than using the right tune to win. In Gran Turismo you can just right into races with others a lot easier and it takes effort to get good cars and win races since you can't just use OP cars with OP tunes which is 99% of the races in Forza. #FORZA 5 VS GRAN TURISMO 7 DOWNLOAD#Gran Turismo does take more effort to win races and get cars yes, in Forza you can just pick a top car you won in the wheelspin, download a tune and win effortlessly entire championships, Online racing with others is not that great either. In the races I've done it just people flexing with the best cars running the best tunes and unless you too are using that car/tune you will lose regardless of skill. Forza is more arcadey than Gran Turismo and imo Gran Turismo has more realistic handling but Forza has better customization and being in an open world driving with others is a huge plus. ![]()
